Wildcats Technology Classes
Students in Kindergarten to Sixth grade will start the year learning about the Seven Habits of Digital Citizenship. These lessons are correlated with the National Educational Technology Standards for students. Our Oak Hill Technology page is used by all classes in the lab. Digital Citizenship and EVSC Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
At the first of the school year, students are given a packet of papers to take home for their parents and guardians. The papers include information about the AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) for all students in EVSC. If you have questions about these policies, you may contact the office during school hours.
EVSC asks that each grade level work on Digital Citizenship at the first of each year. Mr. Bill Gumula, our eLearning Coach, has helped to provide information about what is taught at each level and why. The link to his materials is provided below.

Grading Scale
At Oak Hill School, we use the following grading scale:
94 - 100 = A
84 - 93 = B
74 - 83 = C
64 - 73 = D
Below 63 = F

Typing Grades
Classroom Procedures
- Students will wait in hallway until teacher invites them into the classroom.
- Each student should walk to their computer or chair.
- Students should ONLY use their computer or iPad.
- Students are to demonstrate good digital citizenship at all times.
- At the end of class, students are asked to close all programs and return to the Red, White, and Blue desktop.
Behavior Procedures
- Identify the issue and remind student of correct behavior.
- Softly and individually remind student about the consequences of not following class or school rules.
- Write a note in their agenda book or send a note to the teacher to add to their things to take home.
- Call Parent and make a follow-up progress report.
- Office for extreme behaviors/Behavior mark on grade card.
